Every Day I wake up before my alarm or when my alarm rings. I roll around and slowly get up. I start my day being half awake. I do my morning routines. I eat my breakfast. If it's a school day, I pack my backpack. If it's my day off, I turn on my laptop. The day goes on being busy. When it reaches around 7pm, things start to slow down. The day almost comes to an end...
Every Week I would go to school from Tuesday to Thursday. The three days that I go to school includes three hours of sitting through lecture, which includes either covering material or being tested on them. When Thursday finishes, I start my weekend. Days off seem normal. I often get more then just two days off for my weekend. When Sunday comes, I wake up quickly to get ready as I have to walk to the bus station in order to transit up the mountain to church. Then it's Monday. A day before my week starts again...
Through these first seven to eight weeks of this Fall Semester (based upon the trimester of SFU), days pass and weeks continue. It seems to be endless in the sense of feeling busy. After having some events that occurred during the Summer Semester, I finally wanted to restart to a new semester. To my lack of surprise, things started once more just as it did the past semesters of each year. Being busy with this. Being busy with that. It seems to just keeping coming and going...
These days, I find myself looking forward to a few things during each week...
(1) Working Out - I have been working out since August 31st. So far, it has been the only time where many visible results can be noticed. This has probably been my Xth time that I said I will commit to changing my lifestyle into a more active one. So, up until now, this has been the most consistent time so far. *Knock on wood (Don't want to jynx it) =P
(2) Interacting with Tobi - Some of you may know that I have a pet lovebird called Tobi. Everytime I interact with him, I find myself having a good time of laughter. He does some unique things. It makes me wonder at times how much of a bird is he. Sometimes he acts like a dog. Sometimes he acts like a cat. At times, I think it acts like a human. haha...
(3) Singing Praises - I enjoy my time of worship on Sunday morning when I come before God and lay down everything. I get to enjoy the presence of God. I get to be reminded of things that I may have missed. It is a time when I can feel at ease and at peace. No worries. No stress. No problems. Just a time to be refreshed.
(4) Hanging Out with Mom - It has always been enjoyable to hang out with my mom. With my mom working from Thursday to Sunday and me going to school from Tuesday to Thursday, the only day we can really spend the day together is Monday. We can go to places to enjoy a great meal. We can go to a mall and just wander and look at interesting things. We can even go on trips like to the states...
If you have not noticed, from using the first letter of each of the four things I shared about, you can spell the word, WISH. I just want to share that if you have a wish, you should hold it tight. In my times of busyness, I wish to be at ease and not to be stressed...
I hope you can find your WISH and make it true...
